Terms & responsible gaming
BOARDMAN currently runs in test-money mode. Wallet balances are not real naira and cannot be withdrawn as cash unless the operator has switched on real-money mode after obtaining the required licences.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older. One account per person. We may ask for identity details (name, phone, state, government ID) and may suspend accounts that provide false information.
How matches work
When a challenge is accepted, both players' stakes are locked in escrow. Players play on their own devices. For supported games the result is read automatically from the game's official or public API using the accounts both players linked. For other games a player submits a photo or screenshot of the results screen, which is read by AI and checked against both players' gamer tags; the opponent can confirm or object within the confirm window, and if they don't respond an unambiguous reading is accepted. Matching manual reports also settle automatically. The winner receives the pot minus the platform fee shown on the challenge. Conflicting or missing reports go to a moderator whose ruling is final. A draw returns both stakes unless the terms say otherwise.
Fair play
Collusion, account sharing, exploiting glitches, quitting to avoid a loss and submitting edited evidence are banned and can lead to forfeits and suspension.
Spectator pools
Pools are pari-mutuel: winners split the losing side's stakes in proportion to their bets, after a fee taken only from the losing side. Pools close when the match starts. If a side has no bets, the match is drawn, or it is cancelled, all bets are refunded. Players may only bet on themselves.
Responsible gaming
Set a per-stake limit and a daily limit in Settings, or self-exclude for 1 day up to a year — self-exclusion cannot be lifted early. If gaming stops being fun, take a break and talk to someone you trust.
